Review: Eachine E50 WiFi FPV selfie drone with foldable arms

New foldable arms selfie quadcopter was released from Eachine – E50 WiFi FPV selfie quadcopter. It is targeted as selfie drone and its outlook is very similar to Zerotech Dobby or Wingsland S6 quadcopter. Even if it looks like the Dobby, it still is 10 times cheaper toy grade quadcopter.

So what can you expect from $39.90 quadcopter? First of all it is literraly a pocket quadcopter – you can fold the arms and slide the quadcopter into your pocket. Its size is only 6.5cm to 13.5cm – smaller than iPhone7 (6.7cm x 13.8cm) and almost the same size as Samsung A3:

4 arms should be unfolded for flying mode. Once unfolded its size becomes as 180 sized quadcopter – distance between propelller axis is about 180mm.

On the bottomn side of the quadcopter, is battery bay

Features

Eachine E50 does not need a dedicated remote control transmitter. It is controlled via mobile phone app, called WIFI UFO.

It supports realtime video transmission over WiFi.

Video resolution is NOT as advertised 720p, actually it is 702 x 578 pixels. Video quality is really on the lower side. Dont expect a high quality pictures or selfie video from this quad.
