Comments
Camera has quite good DVR record quality, but the video transmission is very laggy and low frame rate.
Yep, you are right. Reviews show exactly the same problem! Have you seen new DTX03 (DVR and VTX all in one) – preliminary reviews show no lag on video transmission.
I have one in the mail and I will be reviewing it soon. Stay connected!
DTX03: https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-DTX03-DVR-5_8G-72CH-025mW50mW200mW-Switchable-VTX-w-Audio-NTSCPAL-p-1141123.html
I ordered the tx03 after reading good reviews on that but this seems similar in spec apart from DVR recording where fpv then becomes laggy.
Yep, users later dicovered, that DVR03 sends video signal after DVR processing and this introduces some lag and loss of FPS and quality on the video signal. I would recommend to use DTX03 (https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-DTX03-DVR-5_8G-72CH-025mW50mW200mW-Switchable-VTX-w-Audio-NTSCPAL-p-1141123.html) instead of the DVR03. DTX03 has no lag in video transmission.
I found very useful to have all things in on camera (vtx+dvr), but it can be used on smaller builds like 70mm? I found this http://www.firstquadcopter.com/reviews/eachine-dvr03-review/ review, but he is nothing says about the weight compatibility. BTW, it has auto record feature???
I would suggest to avoid DVR03 unit as it adds a noticeable lag to the video feed also video quality degrades.
I would suggest to use VTX+DVR unit called DTX03. It has no lag in video feed, but you will need additional camera as DTX03 is VTX only.
Also Cyclops 3 CAM+DVR unit records at true 720p, because it takes digital video directly from the camera sensor.
