Holybro Kakute F4 AIO

Holybro has also released F4 AIO flight controller. It is F4 MPU based board, includes Betaflight OSD, PDB, Current sensor, 128Mb flash chip for blackbox, 5V and 3.3V BEC.
The most interesting part is ICM20689 gyro/accelerometer, working via SPI bus and capable up to 32KHz sampling rate. This gyro chip is located on the separate small board, soft mounted with vibration-isolation foam to the main board. Boards are interconnected with small ribbon cable. Holybro has added a spare cable in the package. Manufacturer states that Kakute F4 AIO FC has no need to be soft mounted, because of this method of gyro placement. An interesting idea and we will see how it works in the reality.

Update 2017-07-07: First batches seem to have current sensing limit set to 60A maximum. Holybro promised that new batches will have updated hardware to support up to 120A. This is easily can be fixed by replacing R17 resistor on the board:

Message from Holybro: “Regarding the current detection issue, when we were doing the designing work we set the range to 60A in order to ensure a better accuracy of the current meter. Such design can be found on the power supply module HolyBro has produced to work with the Pixhawk. Now at the request of our customers we have changed the range into 120A which is wider but on the other side will cause the loss of its precision. FPV is developing rapidly and the demand for the power supply has been increasing accordingly . HolyBro is always ready to listen to our customer’s feedback and suggestion to cater to the trend. Our latest batch of this board are all of the range 120A. Except for the range difference, they have the same capabilities to withstand the voltage and current. Not very good at speaking English, hope you can understand what I am talking about. Thanks!”
