Eachine TX801 video transmitter with 8 power levels
An interesting new video transmitter appeared in the market – Eachine Tx801. It is 5.8GHz video transmitter with a whole bunch of the features. First of all it has 8(!) switchable power levels – 0.01, 5, 25, 50, 200, 400, and 600mW. I don’t know the other video transmitter on the market with 8 power levels. This allows you to choose the required signal strength according to the situation – if you are flying with copters in competition mode, then you migth choose 25-50mW to minimize interference to others, 200mW for casual flying and to choose 400-600mW for long range flights. This VTX has total of 72 channels (8 groups by 8 channels). Can be tuned to any known receiver/goggles. It even has an onboard microphone to transmit the surrounding audio, for those who lke to hear the wind and motors roaring.
I have high anticipations for this transmitter. MultirotorGuide will be testing and reviewing this transmitter, so stay tuned!
